Some exciting news my loves! After months of backwards and forwards (wait, actually it’s years) I have found the perfect partner for Fortitude. Some of you may know that I turned the content of Fortitude into a handbook for young people. To teach resilience and fortitude to our next generation. I have had so many push backs. From ‘it’s just not possible to who are you/what is your expertise? So many in fact that I have very nearly given up. The thing is. I didn’t call my business What’s Possible by accident. The ethos and energy of its meaning is a part of who I am. If I loose my sense of possibility, I loose a part of me and the last 2 years have tested me in ways that I never thought could even be a thing. I have never given up though, on my certainty that there has to be a better way for us to exist and be. I have never given up on the hope that there are fellow humans that share my beliefs. I have never given up (very nearly though) that there is something better, a positive change available for us all. I have found some more fellow What’s Possible believers 😍💫🙏 I am so excited to say that year 1 through to year 3 design students at York St John uni will be taking the young people concept and working on turning it into the best format for maximum impact for young people users. Project Marvellous Victory of Me has found its feet. Wahoo! Young people developing strength concepts for young people. It doesn’t get much better than this for me. I will keep you all posted but for now I will leave you with Madisyn Taylor's words that came just at the right time for me to make one final push in the right direction of getting the project nailed down:
Nearly every revolutionary change in the history of human progress came about because someone questioned some time-honored belief or tradition and in doing so revealed a new truth, a new way of doing things, or a new standard for ethical and moral behavior. Just so, a commitment to staying open and inquisitive in our own individual lives can lead us to new personal revolutions and truths, truths that we will hopefully, for the sake of our growth, remain open to questioning.
If I can do this, anything is possible for each and every one of you.
All the love
